Karl and Tom started "The Monkeyseat" in April 2020.

Tom, a lifetime fan of Motorsport, had wanted to start a Podcast for a long time, and with the Corona Virus Pandemic freeing up some time, he reached out to Karl for advice. 

 

Karl worked in the television industry and found himself suddenly out of work, so they both decided to take on the project together.

 

The only hurdle left to cover was that Karl lived in Ireland, and Tom Lived in England.

Fortunately Tom worked in the Theatre business part time as a sound designer and had some experience in the field. Less than a week later they recorded their first episode.

1 year on The Monkey seat has been listened to in over 30 countries and had a whole host of high profile guests on the show teaching Tom Karl and their audience all kind of fascinating facts.
